Just me, my camera, and my backpack on a rainy night. Not a bad way to spend one’s alone time.
The longer the walk, the clearer the head.
I keep on forgetting I have a Tumblr account. Anyway, it’s 34C in Manila right now and I miss the cold weather. Here’s a photo from Thorong La pass, the temp was -15C if you factor in the wind chill.
Nilgiri (7061 m) - Annapurna Region, Nepal
Check out the 4x4 jeep. It shows how little we are compared to these massive mountains. So if you think the world is getting smaller for you, well it really isn’t. I just like how this photo brings everything into perspective.
I’m already missing Nepal. Can’t believe I’ve just been here 2 months ago.
Manang Valley, Annapurna Region
Gangapurna (7455m) as seen from Manang, Nepal
The sun just about to rise above the crest of the mountains.
How amazing that fleeting moments such as this, are the ones making a lasting mark in our memories.
Muktinath, Nepal
Gangapurna (7455m) shrouded in early morning mist
Dawn over Lamjung Himal (6932m).
These past few weeks, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to travel and hike in Nepal. Until now, I’m so overwhelmed with the massive mountain ranges in Annapurna. Upon seeing my first Himalayan giant, I suddenly remembered my idols Galen Rowell and Jimmy Chin!
